We provide private academic planning and counseling for students and their families. We encourage families to start the planning process as early as possible to maximize their options. We help students and their families navigate the array of choices on the road to college and determine which schools provide the “best fit” for each student, taking into consideration their abilities, interests, and accomplishments.

We work with the student throughout to build successful applications and prepare for college interviews. Solid preparation ensures the best chance of success in finding a college that challenges the student intellectually, is suited to their personality, and fits your family’s budget. College evaluation, application, and selection consultation is tailored for each client. Through face-to-face meetings and other frequent interactions with students and parents, we’ll help you fully understand the admissions process.

We will:

• Evaluate academic strengths and weaknesses. Identify individual aptitudes, interests, learning styles, and career paths utilizing an interactive online program to build a uniquely personal student profile.

• Personalize college selection: Initially identify up to 20 potential colleges. Narrow the range down to a final “apply-to” list. Provide specialized guidance for athletes and performing artists.

• Develop a test preparation strategy and timeline for SATs/ACTs, analyze standardized test scores, and review extracurricular activities.

• Organize a timeline for college applications, essays, and financial aid applications. Prepare for interviews and on-campus visits.

• Assist with essay topic development by brainstorming the student’s interests, experiences, and accomplishments for best emphasis.

• Analyze admission decisions, early admission options, and financial aid offers.
